The "Pink Ribbon" Pony

The Ukrainian heavy weight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko used this past weekend optimally, after he had to cancel his world championship fight due to an injury, to help a good cause: he visited the P.S.I., Performance Sales International, in Ankum with his Ukrainian countryman Alexandre Onischenko. In the place where Paul Schockemoehle and Ullrich Kasselmann offer the nicest horses in the world, the boxing champion raised his arm with a double effect: for starters, he is now the owner of a Lewitz Paint and secondly, the funds raised by his winning bid will go towards cancer research and education.

The hammer fell in Klitschko's favour at 30,000 Euros as he became the owner of the yearling pony "Call Me Pink", bred by Paul Schockemoehle. There had been a true bidding duel with the Russian businessman Nikolai Aristov in the Ankum auction hall filled with 1,500 guests. So nobody had to leave the ring defeated the hosts, Paul Schockemoehle and Ullrich Kasselman, had a second pony ready which went to Aristov for 27,000 Euros.

This is how the P.S.I. 2011 raised a total of 57,000 Euros for the charity "Pink Ribbon" which supports breast cancer research and education.. For over ten years it has been habit to raise a noteworthy sum for a charity project at the P.S.I..
