International Projects

Hof Kasselmann offers long-lasting professional management and training programs to ambitious riders and teams, aiming at participating at international championships.

Hagen a.T.W. is certainly an important location on the world map of equitation. Although there are lots of competitors and healthy competition between them, knowledge and competence will never become old-fashioned.

The past years have proven that the German mentality with discipline and eagerness to work has constantly produced excellent instructors and riders.

Like for many other enterprises, fostering old customers and attracting new ones is one of our main tasks. People from all over the world train on Hof Kasselmann, and we maintain good connections to:

  • China
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • North Korea
  • Singapore
  • Dominican Republic
  • Japan
  • South- & North America
  • United Arab Emirates
  • and many others more ...

There are basically two different groups of riders training on Hof Kasselmann:
1) Customers: These customers buy their horses with us. It is our aim to support and to instruct them perfectly. 2) People with a passion for horses: Young people from so-called equine developing nations like China are usually schooled for more than one year in Hagen a.T.W. before they return to their home countries to act as multipliers. We deem this support of young riders as investment for our future and for the future of equestrian sport.

Current successes:

  • Freestyle final for Farah Al Khojai (UAE) at the Asian Games 2010.
  • Individual Gold (Lina Liu) and Team Silver for Xinjiang at the 2009 National Games CHN.
  • Olympic training, participation and support of Lina Liu. First Chinese rider who qualified for Olympic equestrian disciplines at the Olympic Games in 2008 in Hong Kong. Lina purchased her Olympic horse via Hof Kasselmann and was excellently trained and prepared for the qualification and the later participation at the Olympic Games 2008.
  • Individual silver medal of Xiaou Ke Lai Ti at the Chinese National Show Jumping Championships 2008 (team Peking).
  • The national team of Quatar held training camp at Hof Kasselmann with the aim to participate at the Asian Games 2006. It was a great success that due to professional training, valuable and active support and first-class horses the Quatar-team achieved the Finale of the Asian Games in 2006, and single riders achieved excellent individual rankings.

In co-operation with the Royal Cavalry, Ullrich Kasselmann is one of the main organizers of Royal Equestrian & Camel Festival 2006 & 2010, a multi-spectacular horse show in the heart of Arabia (Oman) to honour the "Sultan of Oman". It was a huge organizational challenge with more than 3,000 supernumeraries, actors and riders.
